Punch Industry Co., Ltd. announces that it has decided to cosponsor Iwate National Sports Festival / Iwate National Sports Festival for People with Disabilities in 2016 (commonly known as Iwate National Sports Festival) as an official supporter.
Punch Industry established its first domestic plant in Kitakami city, Iwate prefecture in 1983 and thereafter established Miyako Punch Industry Co., Ltd. (current Miyako Plant) in Miyako city, Iwate prefecture in 1989. Since then, Punch Industry has pursued business development for over 30 years with the prefecture as a production base.
Punch Industry decided to support the festivals to the best of its ability as an official supporter, assenting to their intent and purpose "Create and improve a sense of unity and vitality of the region through the power of sports. Make it a tournament which motivates all local residents for the reconstruction, and which is open and makes it a principle to cooperate with local residents, companies, associations, and etc."
