Sustainability Management

We aim to be a company that supports manufacturing around the world, achieves continuous growth and increases corporate value, and protects the global environment and the lives of all involved in our workforce and supply chains.

In July 2022, the Punch Group established a Sustainability Committee chaired by the President to promote initiatives that address sustainability issues.

The Sustainability Committee has several tasks. It deliberates on and directs the formulation of basic sustainability policies, identifies materiality (material issues), sets activity plans and targets for each issue, manages their progress, and discloses related information. The committee presents regular reports and proposals to the Board of Directors.

Under the committee, three cross-functional task forces have been established, focusing on CO₂ reduction, waste reduction, and respect for human rights, respectively. These internal teams oversee the progress of their missions and handle the practical implementation of initiatives for the Group's materialities.
